Morocco has chosen the Spanish group Planificaciones Mundiales to give an example of an entity investing in the country, as shown in the video Portrait of a Nation: Morocco, produced by the Moroccan Ministries of Communications and Finances, and which is part of an international promotion campaign.

The film shows the economic and social progress made in the Kingdom of Morocco, and will be shown by national and international television stations, at fairs, economic and industrial forums, institutional presentations and any events attended by the Moroccan Government.

The Spanish group is shown as a representative example of the large investments promoted by the Kingdom of Morocco in various sectors of activity such as real estate, industry, and renewable energies.

The group’s project is called "Chorok Tarfaya Trade and Services Hub", and is located four kilometers from the wharf of Tarfaya, on the Panafrican Highway, the only road connecting Morocco with Mauritania and other countries in West Africa such as Mali and Senegal. The Spanish group is planning to build industrial units, warehouses, a hypermarket, a five-star hotel-casino, a gas station, a handicrafts market and a children’s playground with several green areas on the site.

The initial investment made stands at €3 million, and the first phase will be built on a site of 300,000 square meters, out of a total of 1,000,000 square meters, according to the website Africainfomarket.org.
